MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – Drought conditions have led to H2O restrictions in partial of Schuylkill County.
Customers of a Mahanoy Township Water Authority are told to stop all non-essential H2O use.
The limited area includes Mahanoy Township, Mahanoy City, and Gilberton.
Customers are asked to revoke H2O expenditure by 15 percent.
Prohibited uses embody watering of lawns, outside gardens, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, and other outside plants; soaking of automobiles and trucks; soaking of streets, driveways, and sidewalks; portion H2O in restaurants, clubs or eating places unless privately requested by a individual; and elaborate H2O use.
